www.kaysmusic.com Kay's Secondhand Books & Sheet Music started life in 1995 as a market book stall in the New South Wales regional city of Lismore, and was launched online in 2000. Since then, it has been slowly expanding, with new music categories being added as more items came our way
We relocated to Brisbane in 2021
Our business is on-line sales only, as we do not have a bricks and mortar store, however if you are local to Wellington Point in South East Brisbane, pickup with cash payment is available by arrangement
We offer a wide range of second hand sheet music, music books and method books in most instrumental categories
Visitors can scroll down any of our music category pages to see our current stock; however, unfortunately, our full website search engine ceased functioning in September 2024, and is not revivable, largely because of the structure of the website. Our web pages are essentially typed lists of items, one under the other
So, we are asking our visitors to first choose a music category, then use their device's search function (Ctrl+F on Windows, Command+F on Mac, Find in/on Page on iphone and android phones) to find titles, names, or other text anywhere on that page. Visitors can easily navigate around our site by clicking on the music catelogues link at the top of each page, and choosing another music category and repeating the process. Yes, we know this is far from ideal, but we continue to work on restoring full website search functionality
We endeavour to update our catalogues frequently, but occasionally a listed item may be unavailable if it has recently been sold
